RootLove Lactation Services partners with The Lactation Network<\/a> and Wildflower Health<\/a> to obtain insurance coverage for lactation services. Most PPO Anthem, Blue Cross\/Blue Shield, Cigna, United and\u00a0<\/span>VA CCN insurance plans, as well as plans that utilize MultiPlan and PNOA, are accepted. If covered, you\u2019ll have as many appointments as necessary at no cost to you!*<\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Medicaid coverage is also accepted and provides full coverage for lactation services.<\/p>

* For in-home consultations covered by commercial insurance, a fee of $50 applies for locations within a 30-minute drive from my office, and $75 for travel beyond 30 minutes. There are no additional fees for appointments held at my office or conducted virtually.<\/p>

The Affordable Care Act stipulates that insurance plans are required to reimburse you for your out-of-pocket expenses for lactation support. If you don\u2019t qualify for upfront insurance coverage, I\u2019ll provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please note, I cannot\u00a0<\/span>guarantee what level of coverage your insurance will provide. Lactation consulting services are eligible for reimbursement through a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) or health reimbursement arrangement (HRA).
